An Education

With heavier depth,

It made more sense.

In elementary school, 

She empathized with her teachers.

She saw their struggles,

And that is the real reason she achieved like she did.

She wanted to ease them,

And do what she could to take care of them.

She wanted to be accommodating and friendly,

Keeping peace like a polite chameleon. 

It was for survival,

But for her it was 

For their survival.

To keep them calmer and less triggered. 

Of course she would want

To become a teacher.

Like her father.

Teaching was her super hero’s day job.

Teaching minds

Postulates consciousness.

That is the job most sought after 

In her precious heart.

She already knows the responsibility it will be.

And she accepts.
